Jen has a diverse background working with creative, expressive, experiential, and narrative therapeutic modalities. Her professional experience includes working with individuals, groups, and families in a variety of educational, corporate, not-for-profit and entertainment industry settings. As a foster/adoptive parent, she has five years of experience working with the Los Angeles foster care system. As a therapist, she supports individuals and families managing the complexities and celebrations that come from being part of an adoptive or foster family.
 Jen practices psychotherapy with deep and equal respect for the client’s body, voice, breath, spirit, mind and connection to self, family, and society. Jen and the client work collaboratively with an intention towards self-reclamation, healing, and personal growth. Jen has experience working with clients struggling with identity issues, anxiety, depression, health challenges, anger management, the justice system, and work and life transitions.
Jen is trained in yoga, meditation, storytelling, expressive art and play, and psychodynamic techniques. She is attuned towards attachment, trauma-informed, and existential inquiries. Her research interests are in Technology Addiction, the intersection of theatre and psychology, healing intergenerational trauma, and creating intentional families and groups.
