Nicole Rademacher is an Registered Art Therapist & Associate Marriage and Family Therapist as well as a practicing professional artist. The influence of her adoption and reunion (with her biological family) feature prominently in her studio practice where she explores concepts of intimacy, identity, and belonging through visual work as well as in community engagement works. In her clinical work, Nicole integrates mindfulness, narrative therapy, and emotional-focused therapy among others through an art therapy lens. She has worked with clients from age 2 to adult––specializing with school-age children and teens––at Allies for Every Child in Culver City and Partnership to Uplift Communities (school-based) in northeastern LA. Nicole holds an MA in Marital & Family Therapy w/ specialization in Clinical Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University, an MFA from Alfred University, and a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
