Rachel has a diverse background specializing in cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, and dialectical behavioral therapy modules. Her professional experience includes six years working with children and adolescents in educational and mental health settings. She also has over a year of experience helping individuals with substance use and mental health diagnoses, empowering them to achieve their goals without the use of substances. As a clinician, she supports individuals and groups in managing their trouble areas, and highlights the importance of celebrating victories, no matter how big or small, when goals are achieved. 

Rachel practices psychotherapy with thoughtfulness and attentiveness to the client’s mind and body connection to self, society, and loved ones. She has experience working with clients struggling with PTSD, legal setbacks, anger management, identity issues, chronic health conditions, depression, anxiety, and work-life transitions.

Rachel is trained in trauma-informed practices and has also taught art and the healing power of art to adolescents. Her research interests are healing intergenerational trauma and the intersection between neuroscience and psychiatric disorders.
