Animal Adoption Video Intervention

AGE RANGE: 5-12 suggested.

GOAL: To get child to adopt or foster an animal into their home, create a narrative of the animal’s life, while projecting and connecting with their own feelings of grief and loss.
THERAPY: Individual and Family.
SYMPTOM REDUCTION: Shame, loneliness, abandonment, and lack of identity.
SYMPTOM INCREASE: Empathy, self-pride, accomplishment, confidence, and love.
